I have started creating digital images of the paper cut-outs I made last lesson. I found it easiest to do this in Illustrator, which I had never used before, but I found it fairly easy to work out how to make the basic shapes for my sushi. Now that I have recreated them digitally, I can easily change and edit these to see which approach works best. This will require me to watch tutorials on linda.com.

I have also been considering different ways I could handle text. Someone suggested to me that I could make English words appear Japanese through use of font. The sign for 'Spacesuit' is a good example of font being used to appear non-English. I could also write English words vertically to achieve this.
